**********Spoilers************* UFC 89 reaction
blah blah blah Bisping shouldn't have won, blah blah blah biased UK judges, blah blah blah UK crowd swayed the judges, blah blah blah Bisping can't fight, blah blah blah UK MMA sucks balls.
Sorry, I just thought I would disrespect Bisping and the UK before the USA (chant mindlessly for as long as you want) got their chance to.
Seriously though, Bisping has just proved what a mature and talented fighter he is, he knew Leben was dangerous so changed his gameplan accordingly, he was considered and fought very cleverly indeed. Anybody who sensibly looks at the fight can not deny that Bisping has just proved he is a serious fighter who has just increased his reputation very impressively.
By the way, just to apologise for the non "Brit hating" US MMA fans, I am picking on a fairly sizeable xenophobic majority in the US, if you understand MMA and are a serious fan, not just a USA fan you will acknowledge my point and delight as much as me when the "others" have to admit Mike deserved to win this one with no denying it.

He was going to be a coach win or lose. Its better for the UFC's point of view that he won though i suppose. As an englishman, i'm very happy he won.

Was impressed by the guy who beat sokodjou too. And Bisping - would have been cool if the fight had been extended, give them more time to finish it.

Yeah Sokky was another Housten, able to hit really hard... but not really super otherwise. But he had some pretty awesome upsets in pride, but Dan was better in pride too.

I thought the event was great and Bisping legitimately won the first two rounds and thus the fight.
I think the original poster above should have just left all the stupid nationalist crap out of his post. Dissing us at the opening and then apologizing at the end is just pointless. Let's stick to refuting individuals and skip the generalizations next time K?

That's a bit harsh, Mike will bring a strong team with him from the Wolfslair, they must be decent coaches with Rampage (personal situation aside) and Kongo pledging their future to them.
Plus, who better to coach people mentally through the strange regime that is the TUF house than someone who has been there and won that. Plus the UK team needs a UK coach to motivate them and create a strong bond and team spirit.
I hope Bisping IS the coach and that the UK provide the level of competition that I know we can.

I WAS PLAYING WITH YOU.
I have had some very odd discussions with people in the past specifically about how anti UK they are. I was predominently aiming my points at them, you took offence at something that was clearly aimed at a specific group of people.
And nationalist crap is something I am just trying to catch up on the US majority with, so please allow me some leaway.

I don't put up with it from Americans so I don't see why I should give others leeway...
