Little Nog has fought at MW, quite a few times, and I have no doubt that he could pose a threat to Silva at said weight. Although, I wonder if the two would fight... aren't the Nog Bros. and Silva close? As for Lindland, I'll wait to form an opinion on whether or not he's on the way out after his next fight, and not merely his previous one. You're welcome to your own opinion, but all of the above men are fighters I'd like to see Silva tangle with before I truly declare him top dog, as is my right to do.

Fedor is undefeated (barring a crap cut cheating loss) and has never looked in the slightest bit of trouble in any of his fights against all the toughest fighters in the world. He is not human. A Silva has lost. Many times. End of discussion.

Yea, In my mind Fedor is without a doubt the best fighter in the world. I fully agree and admit he lost 1 fight 8 years ago due to an illegal blow.Since then he has been on a 26 fight win streak over 8 years running.
He has fought many big names including:
Babalu
Semmy Schilt
Heath Herring
Big Nog
Mark Coleman
Kevin Randleman
Fujita
Cro Cop
Mark Hunt
Matt Lindland
Tim Sylvia
Ricardo Arona
Against Anderson silva who is on an 8 fight winning streak. He has been defeated 4 times in his career.
He holds notable wins over:
Dan Henderson
Rich Franklin
Nate Marquardt
Travis Lutter
Chris Leben
Jeremy Horn
Carlos Newton
James Irvin

Don't say Fedor because by your definition he can't be because he's only fought HW's and fighting a MW doesn't count for much.

Yes it's Fedor. And he's pummeled SHWs (under American Weight classes) like Hong Man Choi, Semmy Schlit and Zuluzinho. Heck, he's fought the biggest fighter to ever fight in human history and subbed him in under 2 minutes. You argument of him not fighting outside his weight class is ridiculous, he fights in the highest uncapped weight class there is, do you want to see him fighting flyweights? Who has Anderson Silva fought outside MW besides B level Irvin?

I'd put Fedor a notch above Anderson on the P4P list, a small notch.
If you really want to get in depth, dare I suggest that Fedor could lose a few pounds?

i'd say anderson silva is the best p4p fighter in the world based off all the different weight classes he's fought in. gsp is a pure WW, and has yet to fight in any other weight classes, so it's hard to make an argument for him; the exact same can be said for fedor but in the hw division. because those 2 guys haven't fought in different weight classes, how can we really say they are the best p4p?
i will admit, however, that fedor is the best fighter in the world without a question, but p4p, anderson silva takes the crown.
take a fedor and make him the same size as anderson silva, i think silva would take him.

Come on people BJ Penn dominates what is clearly the most talent deep division in MMA and is clearly the top P4P in the world, I think Fedor is clearly the toughest fighter in MMA but he is the best in the weakest division and is clearly not in contention due to that fact, I'd rate BJ #1 and GSP #2 the two top guys in the deepest divisions.

Silva is a top notch fighter no question.
But he can not be compared to fedor, no one can.
UFC likes to think they have the best p4p fighter which is understandable.
UFC has the best p4p hype train no doubt.
