Crocop lost his desire right before the Gonzaga fight, he felt he could run through the UFC and get the title. After Gonzaga, he might have gotten scared, and has been very cautious.
His thoughts probably went like this, "I've been doing this to people for years.. and now that I know what it's like... **** THAT!!!!"
I'm not going to lie, if I got knocked out as hard as Crocop did.. I'd probably quit. That was vicious..
Vera on the otherhand.. no excuse.

I never liked Vera. He seems like a big baby to me. Not impressed by his recent performances.

I completely agree. Cro cop had a great career and if he retired tomorrow he would be remembered as a great fighter. Vera had what, 14 fights? They both are having a bad break, but Vera has apsolutely no excuse.

Though I don't think Vera would beat Cro Cop,
the above reasoning doesn't do to well in MMA; example:
Jardine>Liddel>Wandy>Jardine... in much more recent matches. |

I agree...I was thinking the same thing as I was writing it. But to think that Vera would be able to beat Crocop is absolutely laughable. Anyone who states otherwise should lose all their credibility on this site. |

Brandon Vera looks like Trash, he lost 3 out of his 4 last matches, his only decent success is a victory over Frank Mir who is not the same since his accident.
