What in the f**k happened to these two. Vera and Cro Cop were two of my favourite fighters, they were exciting, they were brutal and they came to beat the shitout of their opponents.

Now they both do the exact same thing: They never unload with their strikes, they are scared to engage and the worst of all which is really beginning to grate on me is when they throw a horrible 'push' style punch while rushing in just to clinch and do nothing except prolong any damage been done to them.

Vera's last four fights have seriosly made me scream at the TV in fustration when before i used to be excited all through his fights.

Thought id never say this cos i used to think he was a beast but one more performance like that and the UFC should seriously show him the door, ala Cro Cop.

This is a stupid comparison. Vera started to fold after a few fights and changing weight classes. Cro Cop is a veteran of a ton of fights and while he may be at the end of his career, has suffered a string of injuries which probably drained him mentally and of his desire to kick ass.

CroCop got scared of striking confidently because he got KTFO. Vera didn't get KTFO and he still doesn't throw anymore.

I think it's just the fact he's fighting tougher guys...
Sylvia, Werdum and Jardine.. These guys make him look no where near as good.

The Reese Andy fight was poor aswell, but that's probably because of the really quick weight cut. Reese isn't a bad fighter either.

His big win before was against Frank Mir, who has awful striking. So even though it's a pretty big name on Vera's record, it's not exactly seriously impressive if you beat the hell out of Frank Mir in the stand-up.

Vera is an absolute pu**y and should be dropped from the UFC. He just looked like he didnt want to be there the whole fight.

Crocop didn't look as good against real good opponents, after he left he knocked the shit out of who was that again? Vera doesn't commit anymore which really blows ass because an aggressive vera looks unstoppable.
