Timing will most likely be: feel, pound, dance. As in: Anderson will feel him out, get comfy, unload some bombs, drop Cote, and then do a victory dance- the length of the match depends on Silva not Cote, or just as long as it takes for Cote to make a mistake.

Hopefully he will not throw that low quality kick that Irvin threw and rightfully got caught for. You can't throw a newly trained kick like that against Silva or anyone with some years of Muay Thai under their belt.

I don't think it's going to be shorter. Cote promised he wants to stand and bang with Silva. Although I don't really recommend it, I do think he'll last for a while.

Eventuelly he'll get overpowered though.. maybe it'll even go to the ground and Silva submits him.

Leben has faced as many heavy handed strikers as Cote though, Now I understand none of the guys Cote has faced where anywhere near the caliber of striker of Anderson Silva but a large number of the fighters he has fought outside the UFC were considered heavy hitting strikers as well as couple that were widely considered to be guys that couldnt be knocked out. Make no mistake Cote is in this fight.

I so want to see Cote go past the second round!

One thing though...If stands too long Silva is likely to knock him down and TKO him with a flurry and a ref stoppage.

All I care is that Cote shows up. I am going to be there, and I want my moneys' worth, dammit!

But I won't kid myself...I don't think Cote has the overall MMA skills to win, but I wish himall the best

I believe Cote is going down in rd 1, but he will probably make it past Irvin's time.

wouldn't it be awesome if cote could stand there, in front of silva for like 3 rounds...absorbing punishment from all angles....i'd love to see him as a human punching/kicking/elbowing/kneeing bag....then as round 4 starts, he just collapses from brain damage....

If Cote could take it, I wouldn't mind watching Silva light him up for a couple rounds.
