But yeah, compare Rashad's and Machida's fights in UFC, and it really isn't even close who gets the shot. Machida needs atleast 1 solid win to prove he earns the shot, which is something Rashad did by KOing Chuck.

I would give Machida winner of Rampage vs. Wanderlei fight and give next title shot to the winner of that fight.

About the card; pure awesomeness, ending 2008 with style indeed. Really makes me wonder what kind of card we'll see at ufc 100 now :P

Psh.. who hasn't knocked out Chuck lately? I'm a Machida fan but I agree Rashad has the edge on the title shot. Now if Machida would have finished Tito an argument could have been made... Rashad is lookin pretty damn evolved these days; if he were to drop a sick 'plata on someone I'd probably bear hug his nutz a bit.
