Rashad Evans will never be Champ
Evans will never be champ!, the LHW division is now full of fighters that are better than him, he only just beat Bisping on points who is a physically limited MW, yes he KOd Liddell but Jardine beat Liddell then lost to the likes of Alexander.
Put it this way, Hamill would test Evans, T. Silva would destroy Evans standing IMO, Machida would just destroy him with crisper strikes and better movement, Henderson could beat him, Franklin would beat him, I honestly think that Evans has got as far as he is going to get as there are just too many hurdles out there for him, Just wait til Shogun unloads on him if they ever fought.
Can you see Evans ever being able to become champ?

I gotta admit man I'm kinda confused with your post- all the fighters and hurdles you talk about aren't in Rashad's way- he's already fighting Forrest for the title so he doesn't have to go through any of those.
He's got a much better shot than any of those guys simply because he does have a title shot. Forrest will be a tough guy to go through but I do give the edge in KO power to Rashad and I think the ground game might be a push because Forrest is ever improving on it and is good off his back. Forrest has great technical striking minus the KO power but Rashad is pretty elusive so I see this fight as pretty close.
I slightly favor Forrest but it's no given at all IMO.

this just doesnt make sense to me
have we learned nothing about MMA
anything can happen my friend
plus like its been mentioned before he is ONE fight away from being the champ
its not like hes at the bottom of the ladder and has to work his way back up to the top
he has a very good chance of winning this fight as well

Using words like "never" in the way that you have as it relates to rashad is ill-advised. None of us can predict the future. Just imagine if Forrest Griffin thought "Rashad Evans will never beat me". Such over confidence could result in a lack of training and preparation that could lead to defeat.
Rashad Evans knocked out cold a man that I would have assumed that he could "never" beat, and yet he did exactly that. I was absolutely stunned when it happened, and it caused me to re-assess Rashad Evans as a fighter. He executed a perfect game plan in causing Lidell to become frustrated and drop his guard by forcing him to be the aggressor just as rampage did. Let me say that Rashad Evans is for real, he is a professional and intelligent MMA fighter capable of game-planning specific fighters, and he could well be LHW champ in the very near future.

Evans will not beat Griffin its that simple, and then to get back into contention he has to fight the elite of the LHW, lets face it aprt from a crap decision to Ortiz and KOing Liddell he hasnt exactly been frighteningg and somebody i would peg as a LHW force

You can keep on saying that he wont beat Forrest, but that will not change anything. The truth is it is very, very possible that he does win.
