Are you kidding??????

U-boats NEVER re-fuelled in Ireland. Ever. Despite being politically neutral as a country we were ideologically 100% on the Allied side.

As far as being in cahoots with Hitlers underlings, thats another load of shit. Were there illegal criminal elements in Ireland at that? Yes. Was the government at any stage? ******* hell no.

In fact anyone on the Axis side who was discovered in Ireland was arrested and remained there till the end of the conflict. Was the same true of the Allies?

Go learn your damn History. Your a dumb **** Zender, and Palmerboy you are almost as dumb a **** for not being able to refute his claims.

Anyway, yeah, I like Marcus as a fighter, the whole "Irish" thing not so much.

There are still buildings around in Ireland that the British used to hold German prisoners in.

like i said i hate history. to be honest i dont give a bollox whether a u boat refuelled in Ireland or not. i was born 40 years after the end of the last world war. go ahead and tell me im not really irish or some muck like that if you want because i dont know the country's history in full. make yourself look more of a prick. so far you are the only one to come on here and act like a ****.

I reckon i'd have jon jones

You didn't know enough about your home country to defend it about an allegtion as simple as our position during the greatest war of the 20th century. Thats kind of pathetic.

If you don't understand/care about history how are you suposed to understand modern Irish politics?

It might seem pathetic to you that i wasn't able to agree nor disagree with some other guy online wheter a u boat refuelled in Ireland or not 65 years ago but it doesn't to me. And i'm sure that a lot of fellas around in their twenties would be in the same situation. I dont come on here for arguments so i dont see the point in arguing a point that im not 100% on. Pathetic or not.

I reckon i'd have jon jones

You don't seem to realise the problem I have here is that you weren't 100% on it. I don't understand how you can be that ignorant about Ireland. I mean, you live here right?

I do. And look at the end of the day its your problem. Someday maybe you'll be able to get over the fact that you met someone from Waterford who knew **** all about Ireland during the World Wars due to a lack of interst in history, Irish and other.

I reckon i'd have jon jones

I haven't met you, I just noted you agreeing with a Scotsman about mis-information he was spreading about our country.

And no, I will never get over the complete apathy many of my countrymen(and people in general) have towards our History and politics. You can't just not have an intrest in History, because that leads you to knowing **** all about the current political situation in this country.

Do you even vote?

ok but you knew what i meant. i didnt agree with anyone i said i'd look it up. and guess what.... i didnt bother. because i was more interested in the result of the alves/koscheck fight last night. i do vote. but i dont think about or look into it like you do. what does it mean to me anyway - more or less tax to pay, usually more and a few other bits and pieces i might have an interest in like the price of a pint etc. i know i might be being blunt about it but thats realistic to me and most of the country i'd bet on it.

I reckon i'd have jon jones
