I see no reason for it to be free.
The fights that air on Spike make far less money for the UFC than PPV fights do. There is no reason for the UFC to loose money because a fighter had a bad knee and fought anyway.
I don’t think Cote will get an instant rematch, nor do I think he deserves it. It was a crappy way for the fight to end, but at the end of the day, he lost.

Who really wants to see that? Silva has what, five fights left? Lets have them be meaningful ones eh? No disrespect to Cote meant.

I doubt there be a rematch if Andersons intent on retiring is true, I mean Cote could be out a while with no training, so then he has to rehab, get in shape and first fight back Anderson Silva isnt likely or fair to Cote, so at least one warm up fight, Id love to see it but I just dont see it becoming a reality which is really shitty for Cote.

Toxic, you should put a big ? on silva in your sig lol

Thats what I think and at Andersons pace 5 fights isnt long enough.

There will only be a rematch if Anderson wants one. Otherwise, what is the point? Anderson sent a message tonight. He gave Patrick ample time to "hit him with that big shot". He proved that he is the most concentrated, accurate, precise and technical fighter on the planet. That was simply amazing.

Bullshit BP, Anderson was trying to get Cote to be the agressor because Anderson doesnt like being the hunter he wants to be hunted, Cote made him become the hunter and Anderson was thrown completly off his game, the dancing from Silva was all trying to get Cote mad and get him to come after him instead Cote gave him a dance and let him know he wasnt falling for it.

I don’t think I watched the same fight you watched! The fight I saw had Silva waiting for Cote to do something and Cote waiting for Silva to do something.
Silva had a great game plan and stuck to it, Cote had a great game plan and stuck to it. I don’t think this proved Anderson Silva to be anything more than he has already shown us before.
Silva was certainly up on the score cards before the knee explosion, but it was not that impressive of a performance.

I have to disagree. Anderson didn't have to become the hunter, because even though Cote wasn't carelessly running at Silva he was still the one doing the stalking. Also Silva wasn't thrown off his game it looked to me as if Anderson knew exactly what he was doing, and the few times he did exchange he hurt Cote and got out without being hit himself. Silva could have been more aggresive himself but he still dominated this fight and in my opinion made Cote look like a sloppy amateur. Just my opinion.

WTF? When in that fight did Cote look really hurt, At no time during the stand up did Cote look like he was in any trouble, I also would like to not go back and watch the first round again because Cote nails Silva as Silva is coming out after backing Cote up and I thought at the time it looked like Andy might have been a little rocked.
