Last night my friend:

1. Confused Rashad Evans for Anderson Silva
2. Thought Koscheck was Alves and vice versa
3. Thought the Clementi/Maynard ground battle was boring

I dont need a big ko to enjoy an event, but it does help from time to time. Even with the main event ending the way it did I still enjoyed the show, Watching Werdum get KTFO was insane and I was forsure excited and in absolute aww over the KO. My enjoyment for the night came with Kos gettin battered by Alves. Id love to see Kos leg today.

How about, who cares?

I never will understand why people who are very knowledgable about the sport care so much about other people. Casual fans aren't bad people because they don't know a ton. I don't really care if the guy next to me doesn't know his weight classes. It is anal to a weird level to get flustered by this.

Lesnar is a savage and I, BCooper, am his biggest fan. Destruction tried to tell me Randy was too old, but I wouldnt listen.

Yes, I lost a sig bet.

I've heard other people say that before; it doesn't bother me.

I think it comes from being a bit ignorant about the sport.

I can see where some casual fans would find the grappling/bjj less appealing simply because they don't know what is going on.

No one wonders what is going on when a fist or shin hits a fighters face; but the nuances of the ground game are lost on casual fans.

They don't recognize or understand a fighter trying to setup his opponent for a submission so to them it's just two guys rolling around on the floor.

Ultimately though everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If someone only watches mma in the hopes of seeing someone get KTFO that is their perogative. It doesn't change why I watch or influence what I like about the sport.
