to anyone who finishes fights. Not the knockout, submission, or fight of the night bonuses, but anyone who finishes a fight. UFC has extra cash to throw around why not toss fighters 5 grand if they finish fights. Most fighters need the extra money so fights would be much more fast paced and exciting. Thoughts.

Why Sherk and Griffens decision was the highlight of the night, besides thats a little to much like the Elite XC bullshit.

I like to see a fight finished in style like everyone else but i also like the wars that go the distance between more evenly matched fighters - i think they should leave it alone.

I think it sounds like a great idea, it would give fighters more incentive to finish fights by any legal means.

Unlike the elitexc bullshit that wanted the fight to remain standing, this would be given out for a KO, TKO or submission on the feet or on the ground, I feel that it would benefit the sport greatly.

I like the idea too. I agree that Kos vs Alves was the best fight of the night, but I think it would have been even better if it had ended with a KO late in the third round.

it would probably make the fighters, especially outside the top tier, a bit more gung ho about their fights. Personally i like the way it is now. Decisions dont bother me as long as the fights are entertaining.

I dont just watch the fights for a KO or submission. I get entertained by the whole aspect of the sport. The tactics, the energy, its all good to me.

In saying that im all for fighters making more money. If it means more people get noticed by casual fans, sponsors etc then im all for it.

I like the 'extra cash' justification. If Zuffa does, in fact, have extra cash, it seems it would make more sense to put it back into the promotion, since I don't think having more KOs or more exhausted fighters failing to get KOs will translate to a significant boost in revenue.

They might make a few happy fighters (they got a win) a little happier on fight night, but that's about it. Reinvesting it into the promotion would allow them to expand the business so fighters can get paid more often (happier fighters) and there will be even more extra cash available.
