it isn't unfair and stupid...it's stupid IMO to have 2 young, promising, inexperienced HW's face off against each other when the division is thin enough as it is...remember, it's a sport, but it's also a business...and it would be a bad investment for the UFC to have these guys fight each other right now
Thats exactly whats wrong with boxing.

Why give them fights that they should win only for them to meet somewhere down the road? Put them together now and see who comes out on top. The winner is pushed into contender status and you can more clearly where the loser fits in with the current HW division.

IMO the UFC is not a place to learn your trade and gain fight experience, there's smaller orgsfor that. If you're fighting in the UFC you should be thrown on at the deep end.

One of the things that attracted me to MMA over boxing was the fact that contenders fought each other rather than just padding their records.

He should fight Hardonk on a FNL. I want to see two technical kickboxers throwdown at HW. It'd be a good stand up fight, but yet again, it hits the floor bye bye Hardonk.

Kongo wouldn't be that bad, neither would Herring.

Thinking about it a little more I think they should match these guys up with expierenced middle of the road HW's.

Dos Santos vs Kongo or Hardonk makes sense to me.

Carwin vs Gonzaga or Lesnar if he loses to Couture.

And

Cain vs Herring or Gonzaga.

Cain beat a guy who is actually one of the better UFC HW's in O'brien and he destroyed him.

So I would like to see him face someone established although AKA doesn't want him to so I would guess we see him against an unproven fighter who he will probably either KO or take down and destroy them.

I'd like to see Dos Santos fight Kongo. That would be an amazing matchup.
