Junior Dos Santos

Whos next for this guy? I think it has to be Shane Carwin now with both of them really up the order in the ufc. I know Dos Santos has only had 1 fight but he knocked out the number 1 H/W (with the exception of those fighting for the H/W titles)and now I think he and Carwin should fight and maybe the winner of that getting the next shot after all of this H/W title tournament is over. I realise again Carwin hasn't beaten great opponents but the guy is a beast and i think the ufc H/W division has a lot more potential than it had 4 months ago

Don't know him well enough to answer your question, but he definitely looked sharp. Any idea where I could watch some of him previous fights? Had no luck googling it, everything is about UFC 90.

From what I heard Junior's ground game isn't very good, so now that people know how dangerous he is on his feet, I'm afraid that whoever fights him next is just going to take him down and beat him on the ground, especially if it's someone like Carwin who really has got good wrestling.

I'm sure Junior's BJJ is going to improve now that he's training with Minotauro, but it's something that most people don't learn very fast.

Santos looked good and im all for Carwin getting a push people tend to move up fast in the HW division as the talent pool is considerbaly smaller than the other divisions.

Thanks to Plazz for the awesome sig

Lets have Gonzaga beat him up, that way GG can bypass the whole Werdum situation on the way to a title shot.

Junior looked good. I wouldn't mind watching him fight Carwin.
Gonzaga would be a big test.

He definitely impressed me. Werdum has a decent chin, but he dropped like a sack of potatoes after that uppercut.

I was very impressed with Dos Santos Werdum has a great chin Arlovski hit him hard a couple of times in the first round and while he got rocked I've never seen him in real trouble throughout his career.

Junior put him to sleep.

I think Dos Santos vs Velasquez should happen since unlike Carwin they both have solid wins.

i don't like any of the suggested ideas....the UFC needed another HW contender, so why pit 2 or more against each other right away?

Anything involving Carwin, Cain, Dos Santos fighting each other would be stupid at this point for the UFC.
