P4P is pure opinion. I could say Clay Guida is P4P the best fighter in the world, and it would mean as much as saying Anderson Silva is. The only thing that matters is who is the best of the division.

No P4P argument is complete without the mention of the true cage terror that is Andy Wang

If Penn beats GSP he is hands down the best p4p fighter! But I think gsp will win because of size and strength advantage

And he didn't even finish guys like Otsuka or Horn. At least GSP has come back and destroyed Serra. Silva never did that against Takase, so the argument could be made ....
A fight from 5 years ago has no merit on current rankings. Also, Horn was a really good fighter when he faced Anderson.

GSP is IMO #1 and a win over BJ would cement that. However if Fedor can outstrike Arlovski then I might have to move him past GSP. A win wouldn't do it but to outstrike him would.

I disagree with this. You can't figure out an absolute best, but as it always comes down to a select few, there must be some discernible criteria for determining who is the best. You can't claim that you can claim any fighter the best and have equal validity to certain other fighters.
