You've got to really respect Koschecks ability to recover from big shots.

Alves dropped some brickhouses on Kos and visibly rattled Josh. And Josh was very capable of shaking the webs out quickly and intelligently competing.

Kos has an iron chin, how can you not be impressed by how fast he recovered?

I cant stand KOS either but he is a very good and tough fighter. I would love to see them fight again with KOS getting a full camp and time to prepare. Him and diego have a similar style so it was not a big adjustment for Alves having to fight KOS.

Koscheck is a wrestler who can strike. Diego's a great grappler who has improved striking. They're not really all that similar. Diego is relentless on the ground, constantly trying to pass the guard. He also has weak takedowns compared to Koscheck.

He tested positive for a diurhetic that FLUSHES OUT traces of human growth hormone and steroids.

**** the technicalities, he took that diurhetic for one specific reason: he was on roids. anyone who thinks otherwise is plain naive.

...

You take diurhetics to cut water weight. You obviously don't understand what they are or why he was taking them. They have nothing to do with covering up steroids.

In reality I can take you to GNC and get you some stuff that will get all traces out of your system that isn't restricted or tested for.

Sherk has always had good hands. If you watch his fight with BJ, the problem he has is not having enough reach. He finally gets to show his striking at this event because the guy he's facing is actually in his reach!

On a side note, did anyone get annoyed of Goldie's comments throughout the fight about Sherk's left hook?

Koscheck really didn't seem like himself in that fight. Yeah, he ate some nasty punches, kicks, and knees, but I refuse to believe that's the Kos that had furious shots that bulldozed everyone else in the division! Perhaps he's rusty from training so much boxing.

I would like to see KOS get another shot at Alves after a good camp but that's probably never going to happen now. What's next for Josh? What would be best?

Alves will give people fits as long as he keeps his mind straight. I'm not sure if he could beat GSP but he certainly will present a great challenge. It would be a great bout.

As for Sherk, I'm wondering what is next for him. KenFlo has Joe which should be an unbelievable bout in and of itself, but will the winner face Sherk or does the Shark have someone else on the horizon before he's back in the title mix?

Kos will get a rematch against Alves after Thiago gets the belt

I think you're a bit confused on the uses of diuretics. HGH and other steroids cannot be flushed out of your system, as the tests for those substances do not look for them directly, but rather the elevated amounts of the different testosterone's in your system. There are normal ranges that everybody falls into, regardless of your activity levels, and steroids by and large will increase those amounts many times over.

Diuretics will do nothing but burn fat and push water out of your system, which gives an advantage for rapid weight loss. They are also bad for your system as they put extra stress on your liver and kidneys. These reasons are all examples of why they are banned, but not for what you stated.

there are ways to artificially lower your test levels after flushing the roids from your system. None of that however involves the Diuretic in question.

It also negates the primary positive effects of the roids. All the extra strength and stamina you get from the elevated test levels will be gone as well.
