I hope Anderson Silva knocks his next three opponents out in a minute, I want to see him destroy Okami, Cote has a long road back to recovery and truth be told I think it would be unfair to Cote to give him a title shot upon reaturn do to the lack of real training he is gonna be able to do over the next few months,

i think anderson wants the cote rematch. he was pissed about the "toying around" comments and i think he wants to prove a point. and cotes gonna want it because like everyone else in the ufc he wants the title. but the most of all they havent finished fighting each other. and they both want to finish the fight.

for the next 6-8 months they are both gonna hear it in interviews. asking silva he was toying with cote and why he couldnt finish him earlier, and cote hearing about how silva wasnt taking him serious and it the only reason he lasted 3.

yeah .. I think Cote will have to win at least one fight before he can even think about a title shot again. If anything, the UFC will want him to have 1 fight to test out his knee. The last thing they need is another stoppage due to injury.

I think they should let Cote have Franklin for a return fight, It would give him the opportunity to jump right back to the top of the list and considering he had to have a shot to the knee before the fight I dont think anyone can hold the injury against him, I mean he went three rounds on half a knee.

That makes sense, I know Silva only has 5 fights left but it iwll take him about 18 months at least to get five fights in at which poitn Cote could be back and on form

Agreed, Franklin would destroy Cote. The only reason Cote was even fighting Silva is because Silva already beat all the worthy challengers. Franklin would finish Cote where Silva did not because he would be perfectly willing to take the fight to the ground whereas Silva seemed to want to dance around and have a bit of a boxing match. There is no aspect of MMA that Cote excels over Franklin, and Ace has no problem being aggressive and finishing a fight.
