Who has the best take down defense?

would you say Chuck Liddell has the best take down defense in UFC? or BJ Penn, since Matt Hughes couldn't take him down... your thoughts?!

Chuck has the best sprawl, BJ has the best uhhh....whatever you call it. Flexibility/Dexterity I guess. Hard to say which one is better though, prolly Chuck since Randy is better at takedowns than Hughes/GSP...but then again Chuck couldn't sprawl for Rampage so I don't know..it's a tough one but I'll take Chuck because he uses it more than BJ does.

Definatly Liddell. Not really so much Penn. He defiantly has the coolest takedown defence but GSP took him down more then once in there fight. You gotta love how Penn uses his flexibility to keep the fight standing.

"the best takedown defense"?

...dudes...excellent choices by everybody, Penn, Griffin, Mirko. But of course the #1 takedown defense goes to the Iceman. Chuck has never been KO'd, and only has been Submited once...by Jeremy Horn. LOL...then in the rematch..Chuck pounded him so hard...Big John stopped it cause Horn said " I can't see"! That is a straight up ass beating!

Griffen was alright, but you have to think of it this way as well. Tito's legs were BUMMED up bad and guess who was teaching him his sprawl? Randy Couture. So I'd say in the UFC chuck liddell, his Kempo Jiu Jitsu is simply amazing.

In MMA def, Mirko. The guys a monster.

What is it that is going to be on your mind when you're on your death bed? Will it be the tedious years of 9 to 5, or the memory of some great acheivement. Maybe a moment you stood in glory to the applause of millions.
