Cote really deprived him of what he wanted to do. I think he was setting up for the third and final round. His stance was different. He was pressing forward and looking to engage.

Just sayin, getting someone who considers himself always ready for a fight to sign a few documents has to be faster than getting cleared with the medicals and commission.
that's an issue of money. This would be worth the money.

most 205ers would be hard pressed to condition and cut down to weight in 2 weeks much less train to fight anderson.

Put him on the UFC 92 card.

Put him up against a HW for all I care, the UFC will want him to destroy somebody before the new year.

"He's pissed about his performance." Umm no Dana, he's pissed people like you fault him for not finishing a tough opponent in under two rounds and a freak injury.

Really, like other posters have said there would be a very long list of fighters that would love to have a shot at Silva even at short notice. Since Silva took no damage in his fight with Cote he won't have a problem getting cleared, you only get suspended if you sustain an injury and when you don't you could get cleared to fight the very next day if you wanted.

It all depends on who exactly is willing to step up, I think that realistically Silva's gonna have to wait until UFC 92 or 93 before he gets to fight.

who would be dumb enough to accept a fight with anderson silva in under three weeks?? ESPECIALLY if he is pissed about his last performance and is trying to make a statement. Your chances of winning are slim to none and even though a loss to Anderson Silva isnt devastating to your career, it will bump you down a notch though especially if you are a light heavyweight. I say take someone off the ufc 92 card and put him at ufc 91. That way they should have already been training and they will have a bit more time to prepare then someone on short notice would.

actually this could negativly effect silva's fighting.

Silva is not an agressive fighter. if he comes out aggresive against a 205er he could very well get KO'd.

I dont think Anderson Silva would be dumb enough to go in there and start throwing hay makers to get the KO. The only difference i see is Anderson Silva throwing more punches which personally with his reach and precision i don't think is a bad thing.
