---I think Randy really needs to take those legs from under him first, once they are gone and in pain, the rest of his speed and strength will become useless tools to him--- Again its just my opinion here guys.

It's funny cause I was just watching the UFC 91 website, Dana and Joe were saying how Couture "made a career out of proving everybody wrong" and how he was considered too old his whole career etc. That's very true. This guy started his MMA career at 35, when most fighters retire but it didnt prevent him to do great and beat much younger fighters than him. 5 years ago nobody thought Couture would !) still be fighting and 2)be the UFC champ @ 45. So to answer your question, I'll say I don't know but I'd still give him the benefit of the doubt.

No, that's true we didn't comment on the Gonzaga fight. YouTube's 10 minute limit makes it hard to really discuss every fight the way we want to. Because of this we just pick the fights we care most about.

Thanks for all your comments guys.

The truth is this....

We are really worried about Randy in this fight but we feel it is our MMA duty to pick him because he is so awesome. Call that logic flawed if you like. If Brock is on fire that night, here's hoping for a Mir-like submission win for The Natural.

Can you guys agree with that?

You're right.

We only pick the fights we really are interested in (even if they are prelims).

Personally I want nothing more than to see Couture prove everyone wrong (for somthing like the fourth time), but I can't see him overcoming the speed and wrestling of Brock.

Randy has always used his wrestling and gameplans to win his fights. He will have the gameplan, not sure about the wrestling.

I hear you dude.

90% of me picking Randy Couture is for selfish reasons. I don't want Lesnar to be the champ and have to listen to his voice constantly. I'd rather listen to monkeys screwing.
