I know that- what I am saying is that he had a promised title shot- but the injury prevented it so instead of giving him the title shot coming off the injury they give him Lister. A do-nothing fight- plus they put the supposedly the next line on the prelims- that's BS.

The way I see it is that Okami could be getting screwed on this and he won't be getting his granted promised shot. Otherwise why put him on the prelims before getting a shot? Doesn't make sense. To add insult to injury- the knock on Okami is he isn't exciting enough- so they give him Lister?!? That's crap- Okami could win this- but Dana and the UFC deem he wasn't "exciting" enough and then he gets pushed back off the title shot.

They've done it before and I can see them doing it again. Personally I think it's BS because I want to see this rematch because I think Okami has one the best chances ATM to beat Silva.

Look at what happened to Karo, he was supposed to fight Hughes at 56, got injured and hasnt come close to a title fight since. Albeit he hurt himself with some losses, but the same thing could happen to Okami. it would be tits if they just scrapped this fight and made it Silva vs Okami. Silva has already expressed a desire to fight at 91 so I am sure he would settle for 92 and it gives enough time for both fighters to prepare for eachother. Either way I agree with Walker, Okami could definitly be getting screwed out of a shot.

Since they already have two title shots on 92 they should just book Silva/Okami for UFC 93. That would make both 92 and 93 totally stacked cards. Silva would get the redeem himself for what he thinks was a poor performance against Cote and Okami would get the title shot he earned.

That would require Lister to take down Okami. Lister is piss poor at setting up takedowns, and Okami has some great TDD. And if Okami is on top, he is usually unleashing some brutal ground n' pound and is very capable of defending submission attempts.

I don't see Lister doing much in this fight.
