Good addition, but i agree with Chris - i don't think he's going to be the beast some of you do.
We'll see. Moving up to the UFC may make him elevate him game.

I like Kang I really do but I don't see him making a huge impact. Not as good as Silva, Franklin, Henderson, Marquardt, Maia, Bisping, Okami, Palhares, and Leites. And I don't think he will beat Cote or Almedia either IMO.
The MW divison is starting to get a lot of depth which is good I don't think it's very strong at the top outside of Silva and Franklin but it is pretty deep.
I think Denis Kang vs Dan Miller would be a very interesting match up since Miller is already 2-0 in the UFC and Kang needs a opening opponent to get used to the UFC.

Kang it good. I'm glad they got him. I don't see him being in title contention any time soon, but any addition to the MW division is welcome.

I agree with most of the thoughts here, I'm happy he's in the division. Don't think he'll be fighting for the title anytime soon though, he's wayyyyyyyyyy too inconsistant.
Kang vs. Bisping is a fight I'd like to see.
Still hoping they sign Akiyama aswell.

Kang is a good addition to the MW division but like others have said he won't be near the top anytime soon.

Kang vs. Fihlo. The TRUE Bushido GP Finals. Make it happen.
Great news, I've met Kang out here in Vancouver a few times. Super nice guy and I wish him the best in the UFC.

Yoshihiro Akiyama??? Once again, Kang is his biggest win.
Doerkson, Jason Miller, Misaki!!!
Like I said, I like Denis, I really do, but come on, top ten????
He'll beat lower level 185lbers in the UFC and that's it. If he fights ANYONE with skill there, he's toast.

HE was top 10 for awhile man. From 03 to 06 he went 22 fights without losing. No matter who you are fighting thats crazy. He has nice standup andc good jitz. You cant really talk about his fights with Doerkson and Mayhem, he is a totally different fighter than he was then.
And since when is it horrible to lose Mousasi and Akiyama? They are both legit top 10 guys.
I dont think Kang is top 10 right ow. But I see no reason why he cant get back his top 10 ranking. The dude got skills. Id like to see him and Kampmann go at it. They have similar skills and it would be a good fight.

If you say mousassi, akiyama had their best wins against Kang, then he cant be that bad right?
But i agree that Kang hasnt been looking great.
However, back in the days he had big wins, against Ninja for example, Ninja wasnt that bad either.
Kang has been looking horrible lately, seriously. Loosing to Akiyama, standing? That is horrible, considering Kang is a striker.
2 years ago, he would of been a top 10 MW for sure, but i agree that today, he has to prove it.
I hope the UFC wont make the same mistake again, and send him another very hard contender on his first fight.
There is one thing i did not like so far about how the UFC matches up those known fighters from other org, and its that to them, they are "outsiders" and are here to compete against the UFC, so they match them up right away with strong contenders or future contenders, while they build up other fighters from TUF or other popular fighters.
Anyways that was a little off topic, im happy hes here, i wish Paulo Filho would freaking join soon before he starts sucking.
My guess is that his 2nd fight(providing he wins the first) will be Chris Leben. That would be awesome, id like to see Leben get retired by Kang.
