I didn't get to watch the fights until today, wow. Many surprises.

As for Filho though, he looked unbelievably bad. Whatever problems he had (be it mental health or substance abuse) are clearly not resolved. He should not be fighting at all in that condition.

Filho should not be fighting again until he gets himself together mentally- last night was bizarre to say the least:

Shogun was dominating Forest until he gassed. He lost coz he wasnt in shape that's all.

The combination of overtraining and substance abuse seems to be the obvious cause for depression all over mma.

I can't believe how bad Filho looked. That was definitely in my top 10 most boring/worst fights I've ever seen.

Damn it Filho, could you at least try next time?

Also, I really doubt that overtraining is a problem that Filho has...

And, Forrest vs. Shogun wasn't a domination by either fighter until Shogun gassed. Then Forrest took the reins.

I wondered what the hell he was looking at as well. Mir seemed equally baffled by it. I think he also said that Filho seemed to be talking to himself or something along those lines. I might not have heard that correctly because it was kinda loud. Either way, with that pitiful performance it looks like Filho has got some issues.

I don't think they should get rid of him just yet (if they do infact plan on putting him in the UFC). Yes, his two last fights were pretty awful, but I think they should let the dude get himself back together, give him a few matches, and if he pulls the same shit, get rid of him.

Filho should be stripped! Of course since this is the last time these two will be fighting under the WEC banner that will probably not happen!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I don't think that he should have been fighting yesterday or anytime soon but I'm not sure I'd strip him. If he has mental health problems, which is easy to believe given his performance, then the blame for that fiasco lies as much with his agent/trainer/family as much as him. He wasn't even close to making weight, he looked like he didn't know where he was at times inthe fight. Those close to him knew he shouldn't be in the ring and should make that known since he might not be capable of making rational decisions himself.
