I personally think that the UFC will make a number one contenders match between the losers from Nog vs Mir and
Lesnar vs Randy. And have the winner of that fight challenge for the title, because I don't see the other fighters in that division being a big draw to warrant being in the main event. So the young guys need to wait until the big names have fought and maybe then they will give a up and comers a shot at the title.

I personally don't think that's fair, but this is a business and you need to make a profit even though the UFC is the only viable promotion, now that EliteXC has shut down.

That wouldn't be a bad choice.

How can you not call this a mini-tournament?! It's like the final four.

I dont think your realizing how much the landscape of the HW division can change in 6 months which is how long this is gonna take, in 6 months there will be enough solid contenders to not have rematches among the current contenders, believe me if Carwin keeps destroying opponents Lesnar/Carwin would defintatly outdraw Lesnar/Nog or Lesnar/Mir2 and probably just as much as Lesnar/Couture,

Calm down big shooter sounds to me like a couple of people tryin to make a point if you ask me. Relax and count to ten you will feel better I promise.
Anyways if Lesnar wins imo which he will then next in line would be gonzaga if he wins his next one.

True we have seen it happen too many times when the match makers get ahead of themselves.

To me the hw division is weird. Not near the amount of guys that are in other divisions. So decideing who is next in line for a chance would be tough.

Well when you think about it two weeks ago Werdum was clearly the #1 contender when the Hw tourney was over, a few to many doughnuts and a few blows to the head and that is all over.

I would love to see that fight. But Carwin needs to beat some top people first. Personally I do think the guy is great but I keep seeing other people say Carwin would destroy Lesnar but really who has Carwin beat? I mean his record is great till you look at who it was against, bunch of low level guys that aren't well known.
