After the HW Tourney, who is next?
I think we can all agree, the HW tourney will be fun. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the fights.
I was thinking, who would be the next contender after it's over?
Werdum deserved it, but just got KOd
Assuming Gonzaga wins, it would be 2 in a row, but over nobody significant. I wouldn't mind seeing him in it.
Herring and Kongo doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the title hunt.
Do they give a young kid a shot like Velasquez or Carwin?
It's an interesting option, I almost wouldn't mind giving 1 of the kids a shot.
What do you guys think?

I think if Nog loses there is a good chance Dos Santos steps up as the contender, I mean its easy to take the guy who just knocked out the clear #1 and give him some fights against the likes of O'Brien and Herring and if he is in fact that good they would easily have a clear #1, if Nog wins seeing as he trains Dos Santos then they are left in limbo but I think Carwin and Velasquez will have also stepped up there game by then, it all depends who wins the tournament though, if Lesnar was to win it all then you know the UFC would push Carwin as a contender so the giants could have it out,
I see Carwin/Dos Santos as being next depending on how the HW tourney breaks down, Dos Santos to fight Mir/Couture or Carwin to fight Nog/Lesnar.

Its pretty much a little tourney, kinda like the final four.
Nog vs Mir
Lesnar vs Randy
Winners fight sounds to me like a tourney. I guess we could call it a turd sandwich if ya want or something like that.

So to appease PanKrato and Terminator I will rephrase the question,
Quote:
After the HW Turd Sandwhich, who is next?

Seriously the thread isnt out of the first page and not one but two people have posted not to share any insight or opinion but merely because the feel wronged by the fact that a two fights where the winners will fight was refered to as a tournament, Get over it people if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck dont get mad if somebody calls it a duck I dont care if it is a goose.
