Frank Mir confirms he would rematch Brock Lesnar
http://www.mmabay.co.uk/Story%20Mirw...snaragain.html
Quote:
Former UFC heavyweight champion and current “Ultimate Fighter” coach, Frank Mir has confirmed that he would fight Brock Lesnar again, going as far as to say he would prefer to fight him than current champion Randy Couture.
Speaking to Setanta Sports News, Mir said:
“I’d rather fight Brock than Randy. Randy has been dealing with MMA for a lot longer and he knows how to fight off submissions to a greater degree than Brock does.”
“Brock’s only trained for two or three years. I’ve been doing it a lot longer. But Randy’s ability to stop my submissions would be about the same as my ability to stop his takedowns.”
“He’s been wrestling for 18 years - I’ve been doing martial arts since I was four, so I’ve been practicing for 25 years. For him to catch up on the submissions game is going to be one heck of a feat.”
While Brock Lesnar faces Randy Couture next weekend at UFC 91 for the heavyweight title, Mir himself has a date with destiny at UFC 92 on December 27th against interim champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Mir may get what he wants if both are successful, with the winners set to square off for the undisputed title at some point next year. Lesnar has already spoke of his desire to face Mir again, saying that the two know it will be very different second time around.

Mir subs him again. He better understands Brocks power and will be better prepared to deal with it.
Brock will take him down no worries, but until he shows he knows what to do when he's down there - its only a matter of time before he makes a mistake and mir takes a limb or his neck. Brock had forever to finish Herring, and just couldn't do it....he just doesn't know how.

This rematch won't happen because Nogueira is going to make Mir a stain on the octagon mat.
Even if by some freak accident Mir won, I may actually pick Lesnar to knock him out in the rematch.
