His first shot against Mir wasn't horrible. And while overall he hasn't shown picture perfect technique, you don't always need it when your as fast and strong as Brock. He's been in dominant position virtually his entire career thus far.

Also I have seen some of his training videos and he has shown good technique in his training.

And just because he hasn't been competing in wrestling doesn't mean he hasn't been working on it. I've heard numerous reports of him getting on the mat with Kurt Angle pretty regularly when they were both with the WWE.

His experience in Hell in the Cell will certainly help! How many others have beaten Undertaker in Hell in the Cell?

Randy wins via Brock doing this:

I love how whoever he is fighting roles away after he hits the mat to make it seem like he moved out of the way.

Thought this was an interesting angle for this fight. Will Randy be able to push Lesnar up against the fence and hold him there to do this though?
Randy has a lot more tactics/strategy when he fights MMA than just "hold them against the fence"

Of course an NCAA wrestling background will help Brock.

I still hope Randy wins it..

I didn't say his shots where horrible I said none of them have been great. And IMO to take down another great wrestler you do have to have great technique and set up your shots well two things Brock hasn't been doing.

Doing something in training is different then doing it in a fight.

Messing around with Angle isn't the same as Couture being in gyms with top notch wrestlers every day training.

Angle is better than any wrestler that Randy has ever worked with.

No not at all especially not Kurt years removed from actually wrestling.

Also I just read that Kurt and Brock supposedly wrestled a few times and they both claim they are better.

Umm do you guys realize the size diffrance? Even if Lesnar doesnt have the most technichal take downs he is so big and so strong that if he wants Couture down he is going down, go watch James Thompson fight the guy has horrible takedowns and merely uses his power to take his opponents down, Lesnar is alot bigger and stronger than Thompson is to, Whats Randy gonna do Sprawl? Lesnar will use his massive gorrilla arms to pick Randy up and drop him on his head.

I read what actually happened from someone other than Lesnar or Angle. Supposedly even though Lesnar had a huge power and possible speed advantage, Kurt beat him, but only by the skin of his teeth.

If a broken down Angle beat him, imagine how Couture will handle him.
