Knowing the Hammer, he'll just get jacked up and tear off one of limbs to make weight.
at coleman's age, he will have almost certainly lost considerable muscle mass since his last fight....especially when you consider hammerhouse roiding in the past in Pride....we'll see

Im happy the UFC is giving Shogun another chance by giving him a crap fighter to build his confidence back.

Coleman is too old, too heavy to fight against Shogun at 205.

The best he can do is find a way to take shogun down 3 times and let him rot there and hope for a decision.

But considering Coleman has been leglocked by Takada.. i dont see this happening.. Hammerhouse = submission experts(at finding a way to get caught in submisisons)

Coleman is crazy to take up his fight.. there is only 1 Randy Couture. What happens if he wins? Cmon, the UFC is not giving him a shot back at top contention.

Bring back knees strikes on grounded opponents.. Give me good arguments for not having them for crying out loud.

Coleman has obviously been watching Ken Shamrock and thinking:

"Hell yeah! That's how I want to close out my career!"

Shogun will win but it won't mean much.

I think the poll is missing an option, "does it really matter?". Coleman is getting a little long in the tooth and I think a mediocre Shogun at this point still has an above average chance of beating him.

I think he's only 139.

It all depends on the knee of Shogun. It really depends on how good his side to side motion is. Also how strong the knee will be. You'd just hate to see a guy mess up his ability to walk normally to try to mount a comeback. I had a friend who blew her ACL in high school. She went on to play basketball in college and blew it out again. Now she walks with a huge limp.

I put all my faith in Shogun. A torn acl is a brutal injury in any sports but people have recovered and been successful. Someone said a friend blew it in college earlier in the thread but i'm sure the likes of Shogun are much better looked after by the experts with injuries of the likes. Shogun had a very bad start in the UFC he was made look stupid imo and thats out of my mouth and he's my favourite fighter. But we all know of his injuries yet people still write him off even though not so long ago he beat every contender, bar Wanderlei in his pride division regardless of the rules in pride etc. The same rules applied to whoever he was fighting. I think Coleman will be retired for good after he takes a beating in this fight. WAR UDL

I reckon i'd have jon jones
