Brock allows himself to talk because he knows that the favor is on his side. I don't really like trash talk myself, but Brock doesn't just talk in the air. I've got my money riding on him. Well not actual money. But an expression, y'know.

I actually watched it because I wanted to see how Randy has been training but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe it was just me, but while watching Randy's portion of the show, it seemed less like they were showing how he was training and more like they were trying to legitimize him as a contender against C*ck Chestnar... I guess this may be important to lure the casual fan into the fight, but I was somewhat insulted by the presentation particularly that there was a large portion of time devoted to talking about Randy's life, struggles, and relevance to the sport as if it was necessary to display why he belongs in a fight against Lesnar... Did anyone else get this sense, or was I just way too tired at the time to pay proper attention?

then you need to watch his all access from a while back...

ufc countdowns never contain alot of training footage, they are meant to tell the stories of the fighters, and explain why this next fight is so big...the stakes for both men, the spoils for the victor...toss a few lines like "stepping stone" in their and you've just hyped a fight

Are you kidding, look at all the fights they've used that EXACT phrase for:

1. Griffin Vs Bonnar 1
2. Chuck Vs Couture
3. Chuck Vs Wanderlei (greatest in MMA history, they called that one)
4. Royce Vs Hughes

And now Brock Vs Couture. And how does this live up to it? How does a 1-1 UFC fighter with only 3 mma fights Vs a champ that's been out for a year constitute the "greatest fight in UFC history"? What has Brock done for his fight to earn that title? Beat an overrated gatekeeper in Herring who has been dominated worse by other top HWs? Granted it still is an epic fight, but the greatest of all time?

Ya totally missed the point as to why there calling it "the greatest fight in UFC history".

Its been given this title because it will break the PPV buys for any UFC event. Its not based on skill set or deciding P4P king, just that there is so much interest in this fight that everyone will be tuning in.
