Wandy lost to Chuck and Hendo since then, both of whom Rampage has beaten. If you an odds maker then that probly evens out the Wandy's wins 4 years ago + rampage was the champ. Not saying it right, but understandable

They're also fighting in a different environment. Pride ref's were awfully generous.

Rampage's boxing > Wandy's wide punches and chin this time around. But he's been brutally beat down twice by the man, got to play in his head.

Wouldn't be surprised if Rampage takes Wanderlei down.

True, but im not sure what you are refering to in their fights.. if they were generous, it was on Rampage not doing so much on the ground.

Anyways, Silva's odds are so high because of his 2 wins, not the other way around.. Silva has enough scar tissue on his face for the whole LHW division.

Beating another sloppy fighter cant be enough to say hes back. Rampage has improved striking, and if Chuck made a mistake, theres a good chance Silva can and will.

Wanderlei's game plan will be strike widly forward and go for clinch. rampage's will be to stand and strike, unless hes not stable mentally anymore and lost a little confidence(he did change camp and all, so you dont know), then he would probably strike but mostly fight it down(like vs Hendo).

This one can go either way really, both fighters have a lot of question mark on different fighting aspects.

Ill go with Rampage tho, but i sure would like to see Silva hold that belt one day, or at least fight for it.

Bring back knees strikes on grounded opponents.. Give me good arguments for not having them for crying out loud.

I wouldn't call having the title for a year and defending it only once a while.

That is why the odds are even. Plus, Wandy, it could be argued, is declining towards the later part of his career.
He didn't beat henderson. Decision could have went either way. He also didn't beat lindland. In fact, he lost against lindland. He was gifted that win entirely. I'm glad to see the oddsmakers continue to smoke crack daily. Soon I won't have to worry about a 401k anymore.

I agree this line is NUTS. Can anyone name a fighter that has beaten an opponent who has already beaten him twice?? I just dont see it fellas. If there is one thing we know about MMA its that styles make fights and for whatever reason Rampage just cant matchup to Wanderlei. I dont see this fight being much different. Except I dont think Wand will finish Page this time. He will just beat him up for 3 rounds.

I really dont think much has changed since they last faught. They both have the same skillset. I think the demise of Wanderlei's skills has been greatly exaggerated. He faught a few guys that were tough matchups for him and he lost, it happens. Since his loss to Liddell he destroyed a top LHW in Jardine. Since Quentin's last loss?? Well we all know what happened after that. He is far from in a good place mentally. He split with the trainer that helped him polish his game and who knows what type of shape he will be in physically or mentally for this fight.

Take Wanderlei all day in this fight!! I'd bet him as high as -250

Im in Porno's

If Page could deal with that moy tai clinch, he could do lots better against Wandy.
