I just wish people would stop thinking about past mma games when they give their thoughts on this one. The new gen systems are capable of so much more than the past systems. From what we've seen so far it looks great and I will hold of most opinions until I play the game or read some reviews

Pride FC was a decent mma game, the biggest problem was the lack of positions. There was no side mount, no half guard and other guard variations, and the clinch was bad. I hope this game will improve those things, even if the graphics aren't the best.

Yeah, but you got clinching and buttscooting in the Pride FC game, not to mention dudes fought like themselves. The roster was really, really weak, though. Seriously, Otsuka?

I wouldnt mind that if it was only for the escaping and finishing Submissions part, since it will sort feel like your trying to escape.
How else could you implement escaping submissions in a game?
I just hope that if you press the combination for a triangle choke or whatever, you dont suddenly have them in that choke. I hope theres like a right time or wait an opening before you can attempt the move sort of thing.
I think the game looks better than anything i imagined a MMA game would look, taking into account that its probably the hardest sport to simulate in game by far.
I am truly looking forward to this game.

Well, after about 4-5 go's I'm sure the series will get better. Problem is the ground game would be practically impossible to properly create. Also, are you going to give fighters individual stats and they are only able to do certain things with those stats. And if you do what if they improve in that department.
Just too many variables to take into consideration to make a real MMA game.

Of course, it is the best mma game ever. I was just mentioning the things they should improve. But you gotta admit the clinch was a bit weak, you had extremely limted options, all praise for having the clinch tho.
Example: Hendo is great in the clinch yet you had no greco throws he implements in fights.
You are right about the roster. But otsuka's moves were great

Unless they make a version for Super Nintendo, I'm pretty much not getting one.
