Tito vs Forest thoughts

Who do you think won the fight between Forest Griffin and Titio Oritz. I personally think Tito won it. He beat up on Forest pretty bad the first round. And looked like he had more control the 3rd. However i always hear a lot of mixed opinions on it.

When the guy who lost the fight says he lost, then that alone should shut most people up. No matter what your always gonna have people who think they know more then the judges and the fighters themselves. Tito won the fight and there shouldn't be any arguement about it except from the Tito haters.

I agree. Tito by a slight margin. I think Forest was hesitant at first , but keep in mind that He also fought an ill Ortiz. I live in Vegas and no joke there was bad stuff going around at that time. I would like to see that match up again. A 100% Tito and a non hesitant Forest would make an excellent fight.

I think Tito won but I wouldn't put my money on him in a rematch...Griffin is a smart fighter and Tito hasn't improved at all since then. He's just so damn predictable...he's severely overrated and I dont know why, his record isn't that stellar, he isn't that technically gifted, all he's done lately is beat up on an old guy.

It's a mystery

Ortiz is open for counters, I just wish Forrest was faster with his hands and feet. He's got hands good enough to catch Ortiz, but starts slow. If he comes in ready to go from "ding" stuffing Ortiz's take down attempts and making him pay with combos Ortiz get's KOed. On the other hand if Tito can get him to the ground where he easily controls Forrest and keep the fight moving ala GNP we'll see another decision win for Ortiz.

I accidently put down Griffin as my vote I really think Ortiz won a extremly close decion. As lame as I may sound saying it, there where no lossers in this fight. They both didn great and put on a show. The fight was so close id say a rematch is in order. It will probably happen when Ortiz losses to Liddell again.

Tito definitely won. 3 rounds was too short for that fight. It would be nice if they had some 5 round non-title fights too. But it would be real boring to see 5 rounds of BJJ on the mat though.

good point, and I think thats just it. People like Forrest, and not Tito.
So they talk smack, if he won he won, if Forrest had a problem with leaving it to the judges he should have KOed Tito or Submitted him
