I wouldn't go that far..especially since we haven't seen Brock go for five 5 minute rounds at a significant pace. I am just super impressed with Randy still fighting at 45.

Incorrect.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

You mean, they actually have to fight for things like this to be settled?!

Seriously though, Brock is very athletic, and for his size incredibly quick....but Randy is still faster imo. Brock may be the fastest HW, but he's fighting a LHW who just happens to be playing above his natural division (i still think randy is better suited to 205).

brock isn't just fast for his size.

Brock is fast period. He's just freakishly fast for his size.

I don't think Randy is physically as fast as brock but I think he makes up for that with the speed that comes with experience. His eyes are going to be much faster.

Lesnar may look impressively fast in a straight line, and that must be what you're basing your opinion on him about. In every other way he is slow as hell. No head movement, slow slow striking. The only reason he's managed to get good shots in is because everyone has been so worried about his wrestling they haven't taken into account that he might throw a massive overhand right. Randy has way better boxing and is way smarter.

Brock is actually significantly faster than Randy. Brock is faster than a lot of LHW and some MWs. Dude is just a genetic freak. Technique wise he still has a lot to work on, but athletically he is pretty much beyond compare.

I would say Heath is just as good a striker as Randy (although a different style) and has more experience against top competition.

Yet despite this obvious fact, you have reasonable disagreement.

Hmm.

the right hand landed on heath was way, way faster than anything Randy has ever connected with.....randy has good hands and is methodical with how he strikes...he doesn't rely on speed.
