For UFC 86 me and some mates booked a hotel suite, bought an aerial which we hung off the balcony, connected a freeview box which had Setanta and off we go. Spend the start of the night in casinos etc. Had an amazing night then back to the suite to watch UFC. It got to the intro for the Rampage vs Forrest fight and the signal went for the rest of the night. Considering by this mtime it was like 5am I was irate
My freeview box has Setanta on it, but I can't watch it? Its a subscription channel so how did you managed that?
I know setanta on freeview usually mess things up and the channell cuts out, but last week for the boxing they asked Freeview customers to change to channel 38 at I think it was 4am and the programme continued. Maybe check the listings and set up a recording earlier in the evening or just bear this in mind, keep your eye out
Just watched Ultimate Talk on Setanta, and i had to turn it off. It was really p!issing me off that they were saying Randy "Cochure". And their analysis of some of he fights are really really weak. I hope they begin to improve!
I'm one of the lucky ones too, I've never had a signal drop on Setanta. UFC 90 was fine for me and I'm only down the road from Preston (In satellite terms at least) on the Wirral.
But if my signal does drop at say 5am tomorrow look out your window in Preston as you may see my Sky+ box flying past your house
Oh and on the point of being excited about what starts in approx 5 hours time, I officially have a semi on
I guess it must be my dish thats misaligned. The other frequency is easier for my dish to access, the signal also seems to be a hell of alot stronger.
