So why did Kenflo have to grab the fence....

Before I get flamed on... let me just first say with all due respect to Kenflo... I think he's a very talented fighter.. probably one of the most improved tuf fighters...and I also had my money on him for this fight vs Joe daddy... And of course we all know he dominated the fight... but we cant lie that he didn't grab the fence to stop one of Joe daddy's slams early in the fight... being the classy fighter that he is.. that totally suprised me!! Even though I still think he would've won regardless of that lil fence grabbing incident.. I don't know why but it's like bothering me & giving just that much less credit than I would have if he hadn't done that... Do you all feel the same?..

I bet on Joe Daddy and that really bothers me, I think Stevenson had a very good chance of doing some serious damage from the top, the part that bothed me was the ref giving Kenny a warning, I mean that wasnt a slight grab that was a full on holy shit Im getting slammed death clutch and I think Kenny should have had the point deducted.

Heres the reason he grabbed it: He was willing to risk losing a point to avoid the slam, because he was looking to finish stevenson anyway

edit:Just so you know, I bet on joe daddy and am disapointed he lost

No, I would bet most people don't feel the same. It's natural reaction to grab something when you're fixin to get slammed. Has nothing to do with CLASS. Did you not see the other fight(can't remember which) where the guy grabbed the fence about 7 times? Why not bitch about that one instead of this petty crap?

Come on that wasnt instinct Kenny chose to take his chances with the point deduction over the slam, Kenny won but dont give him to much credit he may not have broke the rules but he sure as hell bent them tonight.

I think I saw him grab the fence, actually.

All kidding aside, I think Kenny was taking this fight with or without the fence grab.

mad props: Toxic

yeah Toxic...that's exactly what Im trying to say even though Im a huge Kenflo fan...It kind of dissapointed me that he had to do that.. and for the record nah I aint b!tching... just not giving Kenflo full credit as I would have if he had not grabbed the fence cus I truely feel that he would've probably still pulled off a win even after being highlight reel body slammed by Joe Daddy..

Even if he had the point deduction, that wouldn't have changed anything. He still scrambled and finished Joe in the first.

lol, you guys must not have seen Sherk/Florian, because this is nothing new for Kenny, and it has nothing to do with class.

I know it wouldn have changed anything (taking the point) Fedor>All but I feel when somebody does it that deliberatly something has to be done to try and deter them from doing it again and right now I believe thats all the ref can do, think the ref should have the power to put them in position on the ground but right now I dont think they can do it. And personally I think it has a lot to do with class although admittidly a classless winner gets the title shot before a classy loser but I cant wait for BJ to destroy KenFlo

Besides since Stevenson never got on top of Kenny like he clearly would have we dont know if he could have finshed Kenny, if the fight had went back and forth longer it wouldnt be as much of a deal.
