Brock charges in for his hammerfists, "What's going on, Nogueira is recoving!! What's going on, Nogueira is ripping my arm off."

I tell you what, I'd love to see someone put a triangle on Brock Lesnar, imagine seeing that.
I imagine it would take someone with very long, very flexible legs.

I agree that Nog is a very bad matchup for Lesnar.IF Brock is on the ground with him for 5 rounds. Which I dont think he will have to do. Which is why I see Lesnar beating him. I think he is going to do the same thing he did to Randy in the 2nd. I dont think Brock will take Nog down at first. He is going to test his boxing and try to KO Nog standing. I think Nog is gonna have alot of trouble with Lesnar's power. I see Brock working knees in the clinch and punishing Nogueira to the body against the fence. Lesnar eventually will drop Nog and finish him with hammafists in the 2nd round.

I hear ya, man.

Browncow was super-pissed when they put the belt on Brock and proclaimed him the new HW champ. It completely flew in the face of any logic surrounding the title tourney.

Apparently, when a HW title "tournament" is announced, the winner of each round gets a belt.

I guess the winner of Nog/Mir will get a belt to commemorate their advancing to the tournament finals as well.

I didn't consider either fight to be a true #1 contender's match. I just looked at them as two equally-weighted semi-finals: each with a legitimate contender(Randy/Nog) and a guy not truly worthy of a shot(Lesnar/Mir).

Lesnar is now the INTERIM HW CHAMP and will face a yet-to-be-crowned INTERIM-INTERIM HW CHAMP to determine the UNDISPUTED HW CHAMP...

in an organization that does not feature even half of the top-ranked HWs in the world, no less.

Thanks for clearing that up, Dana.

The reason it was Lesnar?? money, the only reason.
Actually you couldn't be more wrong. The reason Couture Nog didn't happen is that Nog was already signed to fight Mir. Should the UFC have canceled the Ultimate Fighter. Should they have pulled the fight contract and get sued by Mir? The timing didn't work out. This way Randy could come back, but he didn't have to wait until May or June to fight again.

Well every sub guy lesnar has fought, he lost. So I guess history does back that up.

Nog vs Mir isn't the #1 contender fight, Lesnar/Couture was. Couture walked away from his belt for over a year and comes back while Nog and Mir are doing TUF. This whole HW title picture feels so tainted.

I wish the UFC would treat thier business more like a sport and less hollywood. Guys like Machida and Maia have to win 10 fights to even be considered for a title shot, but a former WWE champ beats Heath Herring and gets a shot at a Champion who Left the organization a year and a Half ago???

I can't wait until Nog snaps Brocks arm off and The Real Champ is recognized
actually nog is the intern champ and brok is the real champ as much as that sucks but its true

One point Yort, I do think Nog can realisticly sub Lesnar but anyone who things Nog is just gonna walk through Lesnar is dreaming, I think Lesnar is gonna own Nog but be unable to finish him, now Nog could very well catch Lesnar I mean Nog has always had trouble with big guys, Bob Sapp was beating him, Tim Sylvia was beating him, Ricco Rodriguez beat Nog, Pride scoring may have gave Nog the win but if that fight happened in the US Ricco would have won, he is 1 and 1 with Barnette, I mean Lesnar is a huge threat to Nog and personally I think they are both the worst possible match up for the other the only advantage Nog has is Lesnars weak submission defense, which could be were he capatalizes if he doesnt I dont see him winning any other way.

The difference between Lesnar and Barnett is that Barnett has a very good sub game to counter Nogs, whereas Brock is basicly a novice in the submission department. If Brock Lesnar beats Nog or Mir it will be similar to how he beat Randy.

I do realie Brock has no submission game hell Im not even picking him to fight but merely pointing out the prominant opinion among alot of the members is just as ridiculous Nog nutt hugging as alot of the trolls are hugging on Brocks. Both guys have strengths are the others weakess's it should be an interesting fight and Nog will have to work to beat Lesnar.

Lesnar v Nog will be a very good match up.

Theres a very good chance Lesnar may just stand up and strike with Nog. I do think he will knock him down with a punch sometime during the match.

If it gets the the ground, I think Nog will go for a leg lock, rather than an armbar or triangle because a man the size of Lesnar will slam you.
