I hope we see this fight sooner than later...no matter where it goes, it's going to be a sick fight. BJ is still going to win though

I much rather see Sanchez vs. BJ @ 170. That would be an awesome fight.

I think Florian calling out BJ was the stupidest thing he could have done. Poking BJ with a stick is rarely a good idea.

I 100 percent agree with the OP.

Kenny has better standup then BJ, better cardio and a very very good ground game. If his wrestling keeps improving at this rate, and he could stuff BJ's takedowns, I would have Kenny beating BJ and I think he will be able to in 2 or 3 years.

Forum Bets: 2-0

florian will be BJs toughest opponent at lightweight. florian is just as well rounded as BJ. where penn has the advantage in the ground game, florian has the advantage in the standup.

someone mentioned that penn will beat florian with his jab. that ain't gonna happen. florian is great at creating angles and mixing up his strikes. plus florian has great kicks, he can throw vicious leg kicks and his high kicks aint bad either. bj will have to do more than throw jabs to outscore florian on the feet.

on the ground penn will enjoy the advantage with his better jitz, but it won't be easy, florian is great with his scrambles. plus his tdd is solid enough to keep it standing.

<--- the punch that started it all!

My current favirote fighters
Anderson Silva
Junior Dos Santos
Mauricio Rua
Alistair Overeem
Jon Jones

WAR dan hardy, paul daley, ross pearson and terry etim doing it for the britz!

I lost a lot of credits on Leben Vs. Bisping... so I'm hoping by the time this fight comes around Kenny, who will be a long shot can bring me back up.

WAR KENFLO!!!!

Been saying this for a while, but Kenflo will be the one taking Penn's belt away. ^^

Im curious how motivated Penn can get after getting beaten by GSP though, or more importantly "when" he'll get motivated. That douchebag might end up stalling the fight again so it wont even happen 2009. Sadly way too likely scenario. xD

well, from what i recall, i am the only one on here who can legitamitely say that i knew joe would get destroyed and exposed for the one trick pony he is....kenny is miles ahead of joe and takes this fight business way more seriously....and a hell of a lot more seriously than bj penn...

florian will beat bj penn...frankly, he'd probably beat sherk too

Florian looked impressive last night, but BJ is on another level. I don't see anyone touching the title unless BJ relinquishes it. Florian wouldn't be able to ko or sub BJ;his only shot would be to outpoint him standing, imo. I don't see that happening because at some point the fight would hit the ground and then it's game over.

To the OP's point, I hope BJ doesn't take any of his opponents lightly because mma fights can be unpredictable.
