BJ Penn better not take Kenflo lightly

Florian just gets better and better with every fight, I think he is a much better fighter now than he was when he lost to Sherk.

His last couple of wins have been very impressive finishing 5 of his last 6 fights and beating top talent like Huerta, Stevenson, Lauzon, Din Thomas.

I know BJ Penn is on another level and believe me I'm a huge BJ mark myself, but if he takes Kenny lightly he could be in serious trouble. You know Florian is going to go balls to the wall like he always does.

In my opinion, Kenny is at a higher level than Sherk is.
If anyone can defeat BJ right now, i think it's Florian. What a domination against Joe...

Kenflo got a lot of heat on here for grabbing the fence but he really impressed me in this fight. His standup looked really sharp and he just mauled Joe in the transitions.

BJ will be a big favourite and rightly so but yeah, if he comes in lazy and unmotivated Florians got a decent shot at him IMO.

Good post, agreed. If BJ takes Ken Flo lightly, he's in for a long night. Ken Flo looks amazing.

I'm so glad he won his fight, I picked Stevenson to win, but I really wanted Florian to win, his fight with BJ is going to be a war.

Definetly, If Florian fought Sherk again I think Kenny would finish him.

I wish Florian would've faced a wrestler with good submissions defense in one of these fights since his one with Sherk because while he has been dominant he hasn't showed he can beat someone with Sherk's skill set.

I wish he had faced Tyson Griffin or Frankie Edgar since they are a lot closer to that style then Roger Huerta.

Now against BJ honestly I don't thin Florian will be able to hang. His BJJ is excellent but not as good as BJ's. His stand up is good but BJ will wreck him with his jab.

BJ>Florian.

Will suck to see my favorite 2 LW's fight one another but someone has to lose. Ken vs. BJ will be one of the best fights to witness EVER!

And yeah, Ken>Sherk now.

Dude you lost me with this post. Joe Daddy is a wrestler with a bb in bjj I dont know how many guys in the division that got better jitz than Joe Daddy. Joe may not be the wrestler that Edgar or Sherk is, but his bjj is way better.

Kenny looked friggin scary in this fight. He looked great on his feet and got Joe in a body lock and slammed the shit out of him. His ground game was tight as hell and was pretty much flawless. Dude got so much better, I cant believe it. Remember when I said I talked to him up the street from my house and he said he was workin on his wrestling and he might be the better wrestler? Looks like he was right!

I think he could def give BJ a tough fight. I think BJ has a slight advantage everywhere but Florian will make him work for everything he gets.

Anybody else wanna see a Kenflo/Diego rematch at 155?

Joe Stevenson is a one trick pony he is not a fighter who is like Sherk.

Stevenson has a guillotine but his wrestling isn't anything special and what I meant is a fighter like Sherk who has great submission defense and will hold Kenny on his back.

And No I don't want to see a Kenny vs Diego rematch because I think it would be the same thing.

Yea, i agree. Bj Penn is one of my favorite fighters, and this might just be a big challenge for Penn even though he is on another level..it's gonna be a great fight though.
