Brock got the shot because all Dana cares about the money and Lesnar is a huge draw. I hate Brock but you know what? He beat Randy fairly...what would they overturn this decision on..Dana wanting money?

Lesnar would seriously destroy Kongo. Kongo is seriously overrated, and for a "world class kickboxer" his stand up is about as bad/good as Brock's.
Kongo has next to no ground game and there is no way a guy smaller than Brock with no ground game can beat him. Brock would get a quick and easy takedown, and G&P Kongo down there. Herring has "solid" ground game and he had no chance against Brock on ground, Kongo would prolly get TKOed down there.

Herring has a solid ground game? What the hell have you been watching? By the way, Kongo's standup is better than Brock, but I still think Brock would beat him.

the ufc is ruining the integrity of the belt. neither randy or brock deserved their title shots, but you cant blame them for accepting. however, you can blame the ufc for offering, and i think it is disrespectful to the rest of the fighters in the HW division. how do you think mir feels... if i were him i would feel like the ufc's mistake

BJ Penn is 2-2 in the Welter weight division and he is getting a third title shot. His very first fight at 170lbs was for the title and his last 2 fights were loses.

Since weight divisions have seperate belts I think its ok to say that he is a fighter that had a 2-1 record and fought for the title (second time) and with a even worse record (2-2) will fight for the title again.

I was going to say that, and I'm a huge Penn nuthugger.

Brock won, keep your fingers crossed that he fails a piss test, if he doesn't then get over it.

Well, would he be better if he had beaten a bunch of cans to have a, say 16-1 record?. No. Most guys need to beat a lot of cans to get to the UFC. Brock didn't need that, because of his drawing power, his athleticism and skill. And he has proven he belongs in the top 10. Hell, I think he's a borderline top 5. But some people forget that styles make fights. Randy was a very good opponent for Lesnar, Nog and Fedor are the worst, so would be Barnett. He would eat strikers like Sylvia, Kongo or Cro cop for breakfast, and wrestlers don't have much of a chance against him either.
