Dont take it too seriously guys, this coming from a newspaper that is very questionable in Britain.

I really hope this doesnt happen, this would end Liddell's career.

there were official talks about it before the liddell/evans fight. Anderson wanted the fight and really chuck takes a fight with anyone. It's really up to Joe Silva.

Chuck has gotten slow and he is too stubborn to keep his hands up. If A. Silva engages Chuck, it's going to be over in a hurry. I have no interest in this fight other than to watch a potential highlight KO. Chuck deserves better than to be thrown in with the wolves after his recent string of performances.

I didn't want to watch one battle-scarred titan get beat down, and I don't want to watch it happen again.

what will everyone think!
They'll probably think "Silva got beat by a guy who fights in another weight class. He's still dominant at MW."

Chuck is going to get killed if this fight happens.

thats why Dana doesnt want this fight.. lose lose situation, i cant beleive people dont see it that way..

Anderson Silva loses, he loses his invincible aura, just when he is starting to get his superstar status like Liddell, Couture, etc.

Liddell loses, its over, he will hang up the gloves, and even if he doesnt, he wont be the same. If you can name me any fighter that was at the end of his career that got KTFO 3 times in 5 fights(because he will get KTFO if he loses..) and that got back on track after that..

IF the fight happened, Silva will just jab it and straight cross all the way.. Silva has 1,5 inch more reach, which Liddell is not used to. He uses very often very long strikes to counter or whatnot, and now he will face a guy that can reach more than he does.

I dont think this fight will go standing very long, if Silva throws a kick or a knee, and Liddell is not hurt, he will take it and put silva down. Because the rest of the standup will be all Silva, Liddell is simply not quick enough to either dodge Silva or connect any of his weird punches.

Bring back knees strikes on grounded opponents.. Give me good arguments for not having them for crying out loud.

It's a WIN WIN situation, just like the Couture/Lesnar fight. It doesn't matter who wins, the UFC will make a lot of money.

Nobody is saying that he sucks or that he isn't great. You can't deny he is on the downside of his career. He is old and it's showing, plus he has been training with the same people forever and desperately needs a change if he wants to compete with the up and comers.

He may have some fights left in him...but not against the likes of A. Silva.
