I remember Dana not being so thrilled about it, and Im just saying that the sun is not a very credible newspaper.
Also, I just really dont want to see my boy Chuck laying unconscious in the cage again.

Its not abandoning if its the truth, Liddell is my favourite fighter, but I dont see him winning against A. Silva at all.

I'm not denying he's on the downside. Of course he's not what he once was, however, he is a champ and will always be one. He wants to go out beating or losing to the best, not being tossed a couple of bums just so he can put some more notches on his belt.

Did you see Evans beating Chuck? Did you see Serra beating GSP? Did you see Gonzaga beating Crocop? Why is everyone so positive he'll lose? I agree that the odds are in Silva's favor, but you might be surprised, that's all I'm saying.

Chuck's had a good run, and this would be a worthy end to his career; fighting one of the best fighters ever. If he wins, he retires as an absolute legend. If he loses, he still retires as a legend because he was the brave underdog who would fight anybody; and thats why we loved chuck.
I say make it!

Lol, Evans was nowhere near the underdog that Serra and Gonzaga were.
Style's make fights, Liddell keeps his hands down, if he does this against Silva then you know what will happen.

It's a big payday for both fighters, bottom line. And the UFC needs fights like this to attract more attention.
Regardless of Chuck's losing streak, I'm sure he won't mind at least one more big payday, and you know the UFC's going to be able to pump the shiznit up out of that fight.
They have some mega fights coming up....exciting!

I am not really interested to see this fight at all. Is the casual fan still under the impression that Chuck is the man? Is that why they are considering this fight? If Silva wants to prove he is just as good at 205 as 185 he needs to fight a top guy at 205 and unfortunately Liddell is no longer that.
There is a whole list of guys I would be more interested in seeing him fight at 205 than Chuck.

If they make this fight- yes come fight time I'd be pumped to see this but as a Chuck fan I'd honestly like to see him take the time off to try and plug up the holes in his game.
I honestly don't really like the upside of a win for him and especially do not like the downside for him with a loss. If though it's Anderson- if Chuck loses to him in only his second LHW fight it would be crippling for his already tough future.

Man are they trying to bury Chuck or what?
He needs some decent wins before they give him the top dog, if he loses this and its like a 90% chance he will, he is going to be 1-4 in his last 5 fights which is terrible for some one who is the face of your company.
