Ricky's Words For The UFC

We as MMA/UFC fans are always noticing the bad comments directed at our sport from people involved with the Boxing Industry.

Well if you were watching UFC91 at the weekend you would of noticed Manchester's own boxer Ricky Hatton who fights next weekend in attendance at a UFC event for the first time.

Ricky had some positive words to say about The UFC and it shows not everyone involved with boxing are haters to the sport of MMA:

In the evening I went for gentle jog and then after dinner I went to the MGM to watch the UFC fights. The main event was Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar. It's the first time I have been to a UFC fight live and I enjoyed the whole event.

I reckon boxing could learn from the UFC set-up. They had big-screen TVs with video clips of each fighter before the fights and they played music between fights. I hope it's the same system when I fight next Saturday.

Thinking about it, it's less than a week to my fight. I can't wait!

Ricky Hatton

Ricky Hatton is a top bloke and also my favourite boxer he has been for years now a fan of the UFC and he has never one to bad mouth something, so it good to hear the positive comments from him. He is entertaining as hell in and out the ring i wish he would take up mma now and expand his horizons but he surely wouldn't because of the money that and he is set to retire within his next few fights apparently
