Tough choice really, i mean alot of the fighters that are huge i wouldn't pick for that reason, i think they are over marketed.
Thats why i'm a big Evan Tanner, Sean Sherk fan because they are pretty low key guys but are great big hearted fighters in the ring.
But if i had to choose one id say Mirko Cro Cop. I'm a big Cro Cop fan and i think the amount of KO's/Aggresiveness/and his strikes really brings around alot of new and old fans. I think everyone likes to see Mirko's left leg go up.

I'd have tournament in the different countries to scout the best and recruit from some of the best organizations. Call out the best of the world: USA, BRAZIL, RUSSIA, Timbuktu, wherever. BEST OF THE BEST. Have them go against each other to see who comes out on top by weight class after they've proven that they are tops in their country. Then whoever wins that contest can take the belt and see how long he can hold it.
Anybody who starts a new promotion will have to have deep pockets though because Chuck, Tito, fedor, Cro Cop, Hiughes or Franklin won't come cheap.

I hope you don't mean Nick Diaz, hes an alright fighter but you couldn't market that guy at all.

ya all 3 of those guys love to fight and give it there all, you can really yell when they fight.
I'd choose Tanner before lawler and Barroni though.

If I could choose any fighter to start my company I'd take either Fedor or Shogun. Fedor because he's the best..period. Shogun because he's so young and one of the best there is and will be great for a long time, plus he's exciting.
If it was targeted towards the American audience like UFC I'd take GSP. His English is bad but it's good enough and he'll like Shogun be great for a long time and is exciting.
