Jason Macdonald vs. Chris Leban at UFC 66

On December 30, Jason "the athlete" Macdonald will face Chris Leban! Will Macdonald crush Leban or will Leban avenge Ed Herman's loss? My money will be on Macdonald!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Why would Leben be avenging Ed Hermans loss? Are the two friends? UFC 66 is turnin out to be a great card I think this will be an exciting fight. I hope they actually air it.

It would make much more sense to have Kendall Grove vs. Jason MacDonald. They matchup waaaaay better. How does Leben go from almost being the #1 contender to fighting a newcomer on the bottom of the ladder anyway?

Are you really that eager to see Silva vs. Leban 2? I think that says it all! Also Kendall Grove wants Rory Singer for some odd reason!

O no haha. I'm just saying that UFC doesn't do a great job with their matchups. They'll give Grove Rory to fight because it will be an easy win, and they prolly think Leben is too much for McDonald, otherwise, I can't figure out how they pick these matchups. They should be picked by where they are on the ladder, Jason and Chris aren't on the same level right now. Jason and Kendal are, and Jason is the only guy left for Kendal to fight that is close to his height. But they are afraid Jason will beat their other golden boy like he did Ed.

I think it will be a heck of a fight but I see Leben winning by TKO.

I like MacDonald, he's very athletic and his ground game looks technically sound. On the feet, I think Leben wins this pretty easily, but on the ground it's pretty close. I'd give the advantage to MacDonald, but I don't know much about Leben's grappling. It's supposed to be really good.

My money's on the Athlete, just because I don't like Leben and I don't think he's a good fighter, but he always has a shot, that's the great thing about his hands.

Not only are Leben and Herman both from Team Quest but Leben was Hermans corner for his fight with Kendell plus there both overrated. Im hoping Macdonald wins this fight but you can never really count Leben out unless he's fighting some world class striker (Silva) he gets KO's with one punch by swinging around. He has hands of stone this'll be a tough fight for Macdonald but if he plays it smart and takes it to the floor he can probably dictate the fight. Im defiantly not counting Leben out though.
