Ever notice how guys always seem to get the flu, though? Sylvia, Franklin... I get the flu maybe once every two or three years and I'm out of shape. What are these guys getting exposed to?

Yeah same here, I don't know if its even that often, every two or three years.
I don't remember the last time I was sick enough to need a Dr.
So I don't understand how these guys who are taking vitimins and are in awesome shape are getting ill.

well fighters arent the cleanest people in the world. i have like 20 people in my muay thai class, and same in jiu jitsu, plus there is a kids class before us, there are just alot of germs in that enviorment. so its possible, he looked like shit. i thought he was just scared. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how the re-match goes. no point in speculating really. 1 it may not even be true, and 2 he might have still got beat the same way.

Good point, gyms are usually nasty, I am sort of a germ freak when it comes to bleaching equipment and everything, and i own my gym, so i dont really have to worry about it.

I have seen sick/dead/dying people as an emt and if he was to the point of passing out his skin condition/color would be cool, pale, and diaphoretic. 100% bogus. If his body was to the point of extreme dehydration and he stops sweating, he wouldnt have made it to the ring.

it's also commonly referred to as "ass-piss" or "ass-faucet".

I'm a big fan of Ace but I think this flu thing is really thin! If Ace was that sick and Dana White let him fight knowing it, I'm pretty sure NSAC would chew his a$$ out! I think the reason Rich didn't look himself was more personal then physical. What was going on with his life prior to 64 I don't think will ever know unless Rich tells us.

Besides, even if he had personal problems that still doesn't change the fact that he went in there with a bad game plan. Rich said that the clinch was his sweet spot. He thought that if he got into a clinch with Anderson he would be able to break out of it!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Well, I thought something was wrong prior to the fight. I even told one of my buddies that he already lost, before the fight started. I just didn't think it would last two minutes. He had surgery on his nose on October 20th so I am sure he still looks like crap.

As far as Silva's clinch, Jorge Rodriguez did better in the clinch than Franklin so again, not sure what the hell happened. I thought it was pathetic.
