I'd like to know what inspired Hughes to say this. Was it a lack of confidence for Franklin? Or was it overconfidence? Maybe he thought there was no way Franklin would lose, so he wouldn't ever have to keep to his word and move up for Anderson. Who knows.

Although I don't like Hughes' chances against Anderson, I'd still much like to see it.
However, Hughes should be more concerned with defending his own belt. There are a lot of hungry young talent out there after it. So this fight will likely never happen.
