Actually I think a large majority of people on this forum reluctantly admitted that Brock had the better chance of beating Couture, based off their physical attributes and styles.

Brock will do Nog a favor and take him down (not to rule Mir out). Admittedly it's hard to sub someone with great wrestling skills, who's also quite explosive with their GNP off your back, but Nog certainly has the talent to make it happen.

There's also the possibility of a sweep if they're on the ground, or a trip or some such if they're not (Nog's been training Judo for most of his life). If it stays on the feet Nogueira has some underestimated boxing talent imo, even if Lesnar hits harder.

Very very tough fight for Nogueira but I think he can pull it off.

Ok. BASIC submission defense is easier to learn than using them IMO. Nog's subs are not BASIC. It take years upon years to learn how to defend a flow like Nogs. Brock may be able to defend arm bars and Kimuras but theres no way he'll defend 3 straight sub attempts that Nog can throw at him.

A good post, since people act like "Brock Lesnar has leveled up, Brock Lesnar learned submission defense"

I hope that's not some sort of innuendo

I bet Sable knows

In all seriousness though I think Brock's gonna have trouble with top BJJ fighters for the rest of his career, he just gets a bit too crazy trying to finish guys IMO.

I'm calling Nog via armbar but I'm not counting Brock out by any means, someone that big/athletic has a chance against any oppponent IMO.

I can see Brock struggling against good strikers too. And man does he need to work on his cardio. He was already running out of steam in his fight with Randy. Guess its much harder working for the W than simply controlling someone

I don't think his cardio's ever gonna be great just cos of his sheer size, thats a lot of muscles that need oxygen.

Randy was doing a good job of pushing the pace until he got caught and I think think that's a good way to fight Brock TBH. Don't let him keep his weight on you and control you and make him work for position, of course that's easier said than done considering Lesnars obvious power.
