Yeah, unfortunatly this video was made before Leben got caught using steriods. Matt may have picked someone else...I'm not sure.
Fave fighters: Anderson, Demian, Hazelett, GSP, WAND, and hmmmm who else... oh that's right MINOTAURO! But I like a ton of fighters, these are just the ones I can think of right now.
To root for: Gotta go with Nog and WAND here. They fight their hearts out and rooting for Nog is soooooo rewarding when he comes back to choke his opponent out or armbar them. WAND is a guy who's just so awesome that you just get plain happy when he wins (in devastating fashion).
To watch: Same as my fave figthers. I chose them very much because I love the way they fight. Especailly Demian and Hazelett. They are just so creative with their submission. Eddie Alvarez deserves a place in my "favourite to watch" category as well.
Things I hate when they do:You sort of covered it all there.
Characteristics I like: Heart and professionalism = knowing what you want to do and try to do it until you're finished or have won. It's irritating when a fighter is brought out of his game and just starts to goof around. A fighter should always have a temporary goal he's actively working for, a plan A, B and C. Or if he doesn't have a real goal he should at least be active to make stuff happen. That is what for me separates the regular fighters from the championship material.
I think actually Nog won me over the most when I saw the beating Fedor gave him the first time they fought and how he just continued to try to win until the bell rung and after that he was exhausted. That's just a man not being broken when just about any other man wouyld have been. That's freakin' inspiring.
