Alright, well I was kind of pointing out that you can have 2 BJJ guys go at it on the ground and make for an exciting fight**

I will say though that the McDonald fight seriously made me quetion just how world class Maia's BJJ is, I mean Maia has dominated guys with little ground skills but even against a just a solid ground guy he had some degree of problems so I dont know how well he would do against a top BJJ guy, that said he probably could outstrike Almeida**

You question how World Class Maia's BJJ is?
Do you know his credentials?

Oh no doubt about it but its hard to say that Maia looked nearly as impressive against J-Mac as he has against his other opponents, I mean either J-Mac is alot better than I ever ever gave him credit for or Maia isnt nearly as good as I gave him credit for because I along with the majority of this board gave Mcdonald vitually no chance of winning that fight and he may have lost but he definatly held his own**

I may have not worded that best I more meant Im not sure how his BJJ stacks up against other fighters who are considered to have "World Class" BJJ personally I was pretty unimpressed in Maia in that fight and desite him winning I expected a better showing**

To be fair Macdonald's ground **** is really good** I mean he has sick subs and really won't tap unless he must** Look at the Doerkson fight**

His BJJ stacks up just fine against other fighters with "World Class" BJJ** He is a World Champ in BJJ and also ADCC champion** We don't need to question this** The quality of BJJ in MMA is obviously going to be worse than the quality of BJJ in 'BJJ anyway**
