I just looked at the 185lb roster** I think Nate Marquardt might have a good shot against him in a rematch** I think the person to beat Anderson Silva will be a Kendall Grove type fighter (not necessarily Kendall Grove though)** I think a tall fighter that can use range to negate Silva's counter striking** The person will need a good **** plan and to not get caught up in exchanges** The other alternative is someone with a good Greco clinch and top control** Who is a 185lb Randy Couture? I don't see any in that division**

The only footage I've seen in regard to his striking wasn't flattering** Plus he doesn't have much in the way of athleticism** Right now he is a one trick pony, and those never last** His BJJ is incredible, but I'm always of the opinion that your best attribute should be an asset and never a crutch**

Yeah, he was my best candidate but he just isn't as cage smart as Randy and doesn't come up with as good of a **** plan for his opponent** Hendo is a great fighter, but I just don't think he puts it all together as well as Randy does** Hendo has pretty much the same **** plan against any opponent** If Hendo gets in the mindset of loading up that big right hand it only spells doom for him against a counter striker of Silva's pedigree** Plus cutting to 185 seems to adversely affect his performance**

I think GSP is a stud but I wonder why you guys think he can beat Anderson I think I need to see what happens with penn first** I have yet to see anderson be tested in the ufc so I'm not sure we can properly judge what he has or who can beat him**
Anybody can beat anybody at any given time Look at Matt Serra

I can only say Palhares so many times till it gets old**
The guy is way better at BJJ then Silva, Silva has long legs and will likely get subbed by a heel hook, and Palhares has more then enough wrestling to take Silva down**

I think Maia WILL beat Silva**********I have noticed one weakness from Silva and it is his desire to beat an opponent at his own ****
If you think how he has approached his fights with several of his last opponents he has tried to break them at there own strenghths
Leban - Strikes
Franklin - Strikes
Luter - Submission
Henderson - Submission
Irvin - Strikes
These few examples proves his desire to do this** BUT he will make a mistake trying to tackle Maia with BJJ** He will not win this battle if he trys to submit Maia** Its just a personal observation

I think Silva is world-class but I think there are a few who can beat him**
At MW-
The new and improved Nate Marquardt
Yoshihiro Akiyama!!
At LHW-
Rampage
Machida (Although this would never happen)
Griffin
Rashad
