i dont like the guy.the all steroid thing just totally turned me off.
and even before that..hes just not exciting to watch..he wins fights by geting on top and doing nothing.
hes only strength is cardio and power..and with the all steroid cloud thats not even impressive.i like fighters with technique..not those cardio machines like sherk.

come on guys, keep up the votes and opinions, i want to hear from all the guys who where throwing steroids allegations left and right.

Also it wouldn't hurt to have a discussion on what's next for the Muscle Shark.

I'd love to see a Florian rematch, for the Interim LW title in case Penn beats GSP and furtherly ties up the division.

I just hate when people take the fight to the ground and do NOTHING while down there other than move in circles the whole time.
This is one of the reasons I was never a fan of Sherk. Out-muscling someone is one way to win a fight, but it is one of my least faverite things to watch.

Add to that the steroid incident, and I "hated" Sherk.

After watching the dude train, his fight with BJ, the humility he showed in post fight interviews, and the way the dude just won't give up, I gained a ton of respect for him.

I am now somewhere inbetween not caring and liking Sherk. Dude will probably smash nearly everyone left in the LW division, short of BJ. Do I smell a Rich Franklin-like situation?

Well, i believe Sherk can do a lot better against BJ, he just came with a gameplan that didn't work and wasn't able to adjust mid-fight. I'm not saying that he would maul BJ on a rematch but i believe that he would do a lot better.

Looks like a very interesting match up, how do you think Maynard's Standup and Reach compare to Sherk? What about the wrestling, do you think anyone would be able to get the other down?
